Price Matching
Techno Cycle is happy to offer price matching in certain situations. Please send your request to [email protected]
If you find a lower price with another retailer or authorized dealer online, in-store, or in print, before you buy or within 15 days of your purchase, we’ll gladly match that price. Should our own price be reduced, present us with your original receipt within 15 days of purchase and we will match the price and refund you the difference.
Price matching requests have to comply with the following rules:
- The competitor has to be based in Canada, and has to be an authorized dealer for the brand and specific model.
- The competitor has to be authorized to ship the brand and model to Canada.
- Product has to be the same, identical, from the same brand, same colour, model, size and model year.
- The product has to be in stock at the competitor, available for sale, and cannot be a limited time offer, pre-order, or available only in limited quantity.
- The matched price will be based on the sale price plus any additional shipping costs incurred.
The following types of sellers do not qualify for a price match:
- Marketplace sellers on websites such as Facebook.ca, Amazon.ca or resellers such as eBay.ca
- Any sellers whose products are refurbished or liquidated
- The product’s price must not be lower due to an advertising error, misprint, or special sale price*.
*Special sale prices include, but not limited to: Black Friday, Black Friday Prices Now and Early Black Friday Sales, Friends and Family, Cyber Monday, Boxing Day/Week, Boxing Day in Summer, pre-orders, point-of-sale activation cards, special educational prices, restricted offers, mail order offers, rebates, coupons, premiums, free or bonus offers, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) prices, close-outs, liquidations, clearances, demos, refurbished items, open box items, and financing offers.
Techno Cycle reserves the right to accept or refuse a price matching request at its discretion.
Discount Codes and Promotion’s
Discount codes are personalized or publicly-released codes offered to customers as a purchasing incentive that reduces the price of an order. A customer may receive the code either in their order, an email campaign or through a social media campaign. It is important to note that discount codes are limited to a single use per customer and can only be used on full-priced items excluding bikes, mechanic courses and bike racks. Techno Cycle receives the right to exclude any product from the promotion (we are unable to offer discounts on several brands due to dealer agreements). Furthermore, the discount is applied before the shipping is calculated.
Other important information:
- Discount codes provided during mechanic courses are only good for one week after you take the course.
- Discount codes provided during a promotion are only good throughout the duration of that specific promotion or campaign.
- The discount codes can only be used on items that we have in stock (a promotion code cannot be used on a special order item or something that we have to order).
