Course taught in French.

Hands-on training where participants learn to bleed different hydraulic disc brake systems, including Shimano and SRAM systems for road and mountain bikes. The course also covers the installation, maintenance and adjustment of disc brakes, as well as common problems.

Course content

• Features and operation of hydraulic and mechanical disc brakes: Shimano, SRAM/Avid, Magura, Hayes and other brands
• Installation, maintenance and servicing of disc brakes
• Brake pad replacement
• Bleeding hydraulic systems
• Brake adjustments
• Identifying and resolving common problems

You can bleed the brakes on your own bike during the course. We provide the brake fluid appropriate for your system.

Prerequisite: Mechanic Level 1, or relevant experience

Minimum age: 14 years old

Duration: 7 hours
