- How the bearings work: disassemble and adjust the bottom bracket, headset and rear hub
- Installing a chain
- Adjusting brake and gear systems
- Lubrication and installation of cables and housings

Pre-condition: Troubleshooting or good manual skills

Incontournable formation pour un cycliste de route ou de de montagne. Les deux formateurs étaient extrêmement connaissants, très généreux à partager leur expérience mais surtout d’une patience infinie envers les mécanos débutants que nous étions. Mon seul bémol sur la formation qui, semble-t-il était la première à Bromont: malgré les supports à vélo (un par participant) pour effectuer le montage et le démontage, les plans de travail adjacent avec les coffres à outils n’étaient pas suffisant pour le nombre de participants. Il fallait souvent s’installer par terre. De plus, si les formateurs n’avaient pas apporté leurs propres outils, nous aurions pu être coincé par moment. Ceci dit, Techno-Cycle apportera sûrement les correctifs, les prochaines formations seront encore meilleures et vous serez prêt à vous faire former à prendre de « votre bébé sur deux roues ». Je prendrais le niveau 2 sans hésitation.
