Theoretical course where the participant will be introduced to bike fitting, a practice that allows the athlete to ride more efficiently while reducing discomfort related to a bad adjustment on his bike.

• Fitting systems available on the market (tools)
• Ergonomic adjustments and fitting form
• Rider size vs. frame size
• Analysis of the rider (experience, shape, habits, ambitions, etc.)
• Most frequent pain and possible causes
• Support points, measurement and shape of handlebars

Who should take this course?

• Sales advisor who wishes to offer after-sales service (quick fit)
• Amateur mechanic who wants to learn the basics for his own benefit

About the instructor

Racer and mechanic since 1984, Steve Vocelle obtained a university degree in Physical Activity Sciences from Université Laval, Quebec, in the early 90s. Between 1997 and 2002, he was the Sport Director of the Ford-Devinci team for the Mountain Bike World Cup. He was certified Wobblenaught in biomechanical fitness in 2003. Since then, Steve has been involved in the cycling world as a bike fitting professional and logistics director and provides technical support to a variety of cycling events.
